Kuala Lumpur diary

The view of Kuala Lumpur from our hotel room at Melia.
Sleep deprived and waking up to a delightfully sugary breakfast.
Shopping in Kuala Lumpur's Bukit Bintang. Here I went a little crazy at H&M, Sephora, Topshop and who can forget the mouth-watering lollie stores. Suria KLCC you have definitely stolen my heart. It was definitely my favourite shopping mall which was full of pretty, feminine and affordable clothes.
Story time! We were walking along the tunnel to Suria KLCC from the Pavillion and something was going on. A lady gave us two markers and so we just wrote on the wall, not really knowing or understanding what was actually happening. I guess we are now apart of Kuala Lumpur's historical wall art?
Experiencing the mesmerizing traditional food of Kuala Lumpur. Shaved ice desert is definitely one not to miss!
You can't go to Kuala Lumpur and not admire the skies and the nations aspirations from level 88. It's like going to Sydney and not climbing the Harbour Bridge!
Such a beautiful view of Kuala Lumpur and the perfect place to take in just how big this city is.
Saying goodnight to the hustle and bustle and crazy chaos of Kuala Lumpur.
Drinks in the piano lounge sounded like a relaxing end to our adventurous day in Kuala Lumpur but we were wrong. Next up was our turn. Eeek memory blank! I ended up playing some Christmas carols and parts of Brahm's Intermezzo Op.117 No.2. It ended up being a loooong night but a night to remember.
Dancing on windowsills while saying goodbye to this beautiful city.

Finally! A chance to start uploading my holiday photo diaries. Drum roll, first up is my Kuala Lumpur photo diary in an order I'm somewhat happy with. We only spent two days here, and because it's shopping central, you guessed it! most of our time was spent shopping at Pavillion, Suria KLCC and Lot 10 deciphering our way through the maze of shops amongst eating and running across roads trying to hail taxi's that wouldn't cheat us, sitting in traffic, getting a humongous pile of clothes altered and running across the city back to our hotel during peak hour (as the traffic wasn't moving) as we had a plane to catch!

As you can tell, (from my lack of photos as most of our time was spent shopping) we only scratched the surface of what Kuala Lumpur had to offer but the little nutshell we managed to peak into was an exciting new adventure. Plus, we finally made it to Sephora which isn't in Australia so it was like makeup heaven for us. Sigh, I love exchange rates! Tick. Tock. Tick Tock. All aboard it's Curryland time! Love B xx
